Women in Ag To Host Event at Crop Production Show 2017

Its that time of year again; Farm Show Season!

This year, we have put together a one of a kind event for all Women in Agriculture.  You’ve asked for an event where you could network, learn and maybe even enjoy a sip of wine, and we are delivering that to you.  

The Saskatchewan Women in Ag Tradeshow and Networking Event will take place on Wednesday, January 11th at the Western Development Museum in the Butler Byers Century Hall.

Crop Production Show is a great opportunity to bring women together to connect and learn, and provide an opportunity for women to develop their knowledge and skills.  Women are often underrepresented at the show, and we want to see more women engaged and involved in the meetings and discussions that happen throughout the week. 

Registration opens up at 10:00am, followed by a trade show from 11:00a.m.- 1:00p.m. where you’ll be able to connect with and support local and home based businesses ranging from fashion, jewelry, farm services, art, soaps and more from across the province.  

As part of our mission to connect, support and empower women, we plan to utilize a few hours in the afternoon for “speed dating” style round table coaching sessions. This will be an opportunity for all participants to learn and develop, and hopefully feel more comfortable engaging with presenters one on one. Topics include: grain marketing, succession planning, agronomy, liability and disability insurance, stress management, social media etiquette and more!
