The WIA Mentorship Program. Back for 2025 with New and Exciting Things on the Horizon

Back for 2025 the WIA Board of Directors is excited to bring the WIA Mentorship Program to new and current Women in Ag members.

The Mentorship Program was developed with the goal to build upon the organization’s value of “honouring those that have paved the way” and our mission of “connecting” individuals that otherwise may not have had the opportunity to meet. This program provides a platform for WIA members to seek advice, both on personal and professional growth, as many don’t already have that privilege available to them. We know the Saskatchewan agriculture industry has a wide array of individuals that provide experience to help others grow and develop no matter what stage of life you are in.

This program is designed to remind our members that they are not alone. Sometimes being in agriculture means we are isolated from others but that does not mean that we cannot connect and get the support we need.

In 2025 we are seeing some returning mentors and welcoming 3 new mentors to the program! You can meet the mentors here: https://www.womeninag.ca/mentorship-and-skill-building

On April 9, 2025, we will be offering a virtual mentor Meet and Greet which gives you the opportunity to meet the mentors and learn more about this program. You can register here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/zkn_2xsXSZGFMk4wPAS7kQ#/registration
